About Daxxify
Daxxify is an FDA-approved prescription injectable made with daxibotulinumtoxinA-lanm. Like Botox and Xeomin, it is a Botulinum Toxin Type A neuromodulator that temporarily reduces activity in selected muscles responsible for facial expression lines and repetitive skin creasing.
Daxxify has a unique formulation that uses a proprietary peptide as a stabilizer and does not contain human serum albumin. It also has less spread than any other paralytic agent which can be used to benefit patients with skin laxity or who need very precise injection points.
It may be used to soften wrinkles caused by repeated facial movement and reduce the activity of muscles that contribute to downward pull in selected areas of the face and neck.

How Daxxify works
Daxxify temporarily reduces nerve signaling to selected muscles, decreasing the repetitive contractions that contribute to expression lines and certain downward-pulling forces in the face and neck.

Daxxify is differentiated by its peptide-based formulation and may provide a longer duration of effect for some patients compared with some traditional neuromodulators. It also has less ability to spread which makes it the preferable paralytic agent in patients who need more exact treatments or have skin laxity.

The daxxify experience
Before
Your facial anatomy, movement patterns, treatment history, previous response to neuromodulators, and goals are evaluated. A customized treatment and dosing plan is created.
During
Small amounts of Daxxify are strategically placed into selected muscles using a very fine needle. Most appointments take approximately 10 to 15 minutes depending on the number of areas treated.
After
Most patients return to normal daily activities the same day. Your provider will review specific aftercare recommendations following treatment.

How is Daxxify different from Botox and Xeomin?
All three are Botulinum Toxin Type A neuromodulators that temporarily reduce targeted muscle activity. Daxxify differs in its formulation, including its proprietary peptide-based stabilizing technology, and may provide longer-lasting results for some patients.
How long does Daxxify last?
Duration varies by patient and treatment area. In clinical studies for frown lines, some patients maintained meaningful improvement for approximately six months. Individual results may be shorter or longer.
Does Daxxify work immediately?
No. Results develop gradually after treatment as muscle activity decreases. Many patients begin noticing changes within several days, with results continuing to develop afterward.
Will Daxxify make me look frozen?
That is not the treatment goal. Appropriate dosing and placement are used to soften unwanted muscle activity while preserving natural expression where appropriate.
Is there downtime?
Most patients return to normal daily activities the same day. Temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, or bruising around injection sites may occur.
Can I switch from Botox or Xeomin to Daxxify?
Potentially, yes. Patients may explore different neuromodulators based on previous response, desired duration, preferences, and physician guidance.
